Dell Inc.'s research and development division in India is closing its core hardware design operations, the Times of India reported, quoting unnamed employees. The staff of the hardware division in Bangalore were told that the work being done in India will move to Dell's facilities in Austin, Texas and Taiwan as the company is facing rising costs in the city, the report said.
